Webinar "Microscopy Masters - Dissecting the Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms
Regulating Vascular Function in Health & Disease"

Our first Microscopy Masters webinar was presented by Manuel F. Navedo, PhD, Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at UC Davis Health and Fellow of the American Heart Association.

During this webinar, Prof. Navedo shared his work on arterial smooth muscle excitability and vascular reactivity, and how he uses super-resolution imaging on the Nanoimager, as part of his toolkit to determine the cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating vascular function in health and disease. His research group uses innovative techniques and approaches to specifically examine the mechanisms by which local and global signals regulate arterial smooth muscle cells during physiological and pathological conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and Alzheimer's disease.

Hear how super-resolution technology and other molecular biology techniques are helping Prof. Navedo characterize key changes at the single-molecule level.
